The Power of Wise Choices

Being prudent in our daily decisions helps us live a more secure and fulfilling life. Simple habits like saving money or planning ahead can invigorate our sense of control and confidence. Good teachers often foster these skills in their students, encouraging them to think carefully and act responsibly. Communities also exalt people who show wisdom and responsibility, because their actions inspire others. By learning to ascertain what truly matters, we become stronger, wiser, and better prepared for whatever life brings.

ascertain

To find out or discover something for sure.

Examples:

exalt

To praise someone or something highly or to lift something to a higher level (status, mood, or importance).

Examples:

  2. Music can exalt the spirit and make you feel lifted.

foster

verb

To help something grow, develop, or improve. It can also mean to take care of a child who is not your own for a period of time.

Examples:

  1. Teachers try to foster a love of reading in their students.
  2. They decided to foster a child until she could return to her family.

invigorate

/ɪnˈvɪɡ.ɚ.eɪt/

verb

To give energy, strength, or freshness to someone or something.

Examples:

  1. The cool breeze invigorated the tired hikers.
  2. The teacher used fun games to invigorate the class.

prudent

 /ˈpruː.dənt/

adjective

To make wise, careful decisions, especially to avoid risks or problems.

Examples:

  1. It’s prudent to save a portion of your salary each month.
  2. The teacher gave prudent advice about studying early for exams.
