defile

Examples:

exemplary

adjective

Something or someone that is a perfect example, worthy of imitation, or serves as a model.

Examples:

  1. She received an award for her exemplary performance in class.

erudite

 /ˈer.jə.daɪt/

adjective

Having or showing deep knowledge gained from reading and studying- very knowledgeable and well-educated.

Examples:

  1. The professor is an erudite scholar of ancient history.

  2. She gave an erudite speech filled with facts and insights.

reprieve

/rɪˈpriːv/

noun

A delay or cancellation of punishment, or a temporary relief from something difficult or unpleasant.

Examples:

  1. The prisoner was given a last-minute reprieve from execution.

  2. The rain gave us a brief reprieve from the summer heat.

resonate

 /ˈrez.ən.eɪt/ 

verb

  1. To produce a deep, clear sound that continues to echo.
  2. To have a strong effect on someone emotionally or mentally.

Examples:

  1. The singer’s voice resonated through the hall.
  2. Her story really resonated with me.
