Finding a Viable Path Forward

 

In every project, challenges are inevitable, but success becomes more possible when people advocate for good ideas and work together. Our team invested considerable time searching for a viable solution that everyone could support. Along the way, we tried to retain our focus and motivation, even when difficulties appeared. In the end, our shared effort helped us make progress and choose the best path forward.

These are the five words we are going to learn today.

advocate

To support or speak in favor of something.

considerable

adjective

Large or important.

Examples:

  2. The project required considerable effort.

inevitable

adjective

Certain to happen; cannot be avoided.

Examples:

  1. Growing older is inevitable.
  2. Change is inevitable in life.

retain

/rɪˈteɪn/

verb

To keep something.

Examples:

  1. It’s hard to retain new words without practice.
  2. Companies want to retain good employees.

viable

/ˈvaɪ.ə.bəl/

adjective

Possible and able to work.

Examples:

  1. Solar energy is a viable alternative to electricity.
  2. Online classes became a viable option during the pandemic.
